Description
PortControl is Tidalis' comprehensive Port Management Information System, shaped by port clients around the world since 1985. The modular platform serves harbour masters, pilots, line handlers, shipping agents, finance teams and port leaders with a fully configurable solution that can start small and grow to cover an entire port operation. Core capabilities include vessel visit management from pre-arrival through departure, berth planning, service and resource management, cargo management and complex tariff-based invoicing with conditional discounts and markups, accounts receivable and general ledger integration. A web portal for agents and suppliers enables self-service visit registration, berthing requests and real-time status tracking, creating a single source of truth for all port stakeholders. The Common Operating Picture (COP) integrates operational and cargo data with GIS layers (including ESRI), delivering a map-based real-time overview of everything happening in the port. PortControl is accessible from any device via Android and Apple apps or a web browser. In combination with MaritimeControl VTS, just-in-time operations enabled by PortControl reduce vessel fuel use and emissions by up to 14%. Reference deployments include Port of Melbourne, Halifax Port Authority, Dublin Port Company, Forth Ports, Port of San Diego, Port of Hueneme and Curacao Ports.
