Description
PilotControl is Tidalis' purpose-built enterprise management system for maritime pilotage organisations, designed to eliminate handwritten instructions and manual spreadsheets from pilot dispatch operations. The modular, configurable platform covers the full operational cycle: fair scheduling of pilot assignments based on qualifications and regulatory constraints, real-time operations management, and accurate financial administration with invoicing triggered instantly on job completion. Dispatchers have up-to-the-minute information on vessel movements via integration with PortControl PMIS, enabling precise planning and rapid adjustment to changes in vessel schedules or port conditions. Pilots in the field access their schedules, update their status and complete reporting from any laptop, tablet or mobile phone, whether in the office, on board a vessel or underway. The system is custom-configurable to meet the specific rules and regulations of any pilotage jurisdiction. Tidalis also provides a free Safety Observation Tool allowing pilots to log and share safety observations for the benefit of the wider pilotage community.
