Description
STYRIS by Airbus Defence and Space integrates the broadest range of maritime sensors including radars, cameras and AIS receivers to deliver a real-time, recognised maritime picture. It supports Coastal Surveillance Systems (CSS), Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP). The system enables detection and classification of cooperative and non-cooperative vessels, identification of illegal behaviour patterns at sea such as illegal fishing, narco-traffic, smuggling and piracy, and provides navigational assistance and fleet management. STYRIS also supports naval forces and aerial operations for interception missions, and can assist with search and rescue activities.
