Description
Foresight (formerly C-Scope) is Kongsberg Norcontrol's flagship maritime surveillance platform, designed for Vessel Traffic Services, coastal surveillance, and maritime security operations. It integrates data from radar, AIS, CCTV, and other sensors into a single operator interface with 2D/3D views, intelligent multi-sensor tracking, and decision support tools. The system is IALA VTS standards compliant and built on a human-centric design. It includes a VTS simulator, full logging and replay, traffic analysis, configurable alert areas, and web/mobile access. Used by national maritime authorities, port VTS centres, coast guards, and SAR organisations worldwide. A recent deployment includes the Port of London Authority covering 95 miles of the tidal Thames.
