Description
PortWeb is IMIS Global's purpose-configured VTS and port monitoring solution for port and waterway authorities, built on the MariWeb platform with over two decades of AIS-centric development. It integrates AIS data streams with port radar systems, implementing target detection and extraction at the radar sensor level to minimise bandwidth requirements between remote sensors and the central system. PortWeb delivers a near real-time browser-based HMI using secure HTTPS communications with a responsive GUI supporting multiple simultaneous Electronic Chart System windows. Its streaming analytics engine provides configurable dashboards and an event management system that triggers alerts from audible alarms and email notifications through to outbound AIS messages to vessels. The MariWeb Security Application validates every AIS message for timing, source and content against IEC 62320-2, IEC 62320-1, ITU-R M.1371-5 and IALA standards. Historical analytics use the GIS-enabled database to generate vessel density charts and detailed audit trails. The multi-tenant permissions system supports multiple agencies and operators on a single installation. System availability consistently exceeds 99.9% through built-in resilience architecture.
